Šerák
Šerák is one of the highest mountains in the Jeseníky Mountains and one of the most popular destinations. It can be climbed by steep trail for more advanced hikers, by skilled bikers or e-bike lovers along the forest path, or by cable car from Ramzová and walking down (ideal for small hikers). In any case, we recommend refreshing with a beer of the same name at the idyllic mountain chalet Jiřího na Šerák.
How to get there:
- Cycling across the Giant Rocks – 10.7 km, elevation 872 m
- On foot along the yellow trail – 9.5 km, elevation 872 m
- By cable car from Ramzová (you can get there by car or train)
Praděd
The highest mountain in Moravia but the highest point in the Czech Republic. Sněžka is higher, but the transmitter on Praděd surpasses it. It is a very popular destination, and if you don’t like crowds, we don’t recommend going there on a weekend in summer.
How to get there:
Preissnitz Spa – Balneopark
Water therapy in nature inspired by the methods of the founder of the Jeseníky Spa, open to the public free of charge. A beautiful view of the entire panorama of the Jeseníky Mountains – definitely worth a visit! If you take the Pomezí route, there is a stop in the Pomezí Caves.
